Community / support / Linux Mint 22 mount issue
Avatar
Hi there I am having issue mounting a storage. It did mount ok first time. but when I close and reopen the app it now failing to mount. Please see error message attached.

Question is if mount is properly disconnected when app closes, perhaps S3Drive doesn't cleanup things properly on Linux Mint / Flatpak release. Would you mind trying the mount again after restarting the OS? Ideally disable: "Mount drive after app starts", so you can have full control when enabling app. Before starting up the mount, please also check if directory: /home/tb/s3drive_tbs3drive is empty. It should be empty when mount is properly disconnected prior to mouting again. Thanks!

First time when I mounted it was mounted correctly to the /home/tb/s3drive_tbs3drive directory. (it was created automatically) after the closing the app directory disappeared and subsequent mounts was failing with error above. I will test it after reboot later in the evening and will report it here.

I get it, it seems it's not cleaning up the mount properly. We'll investigate that one and develop a fix. I will keep this issue open. Thanks for your testing! (edited)
